Ok so i’m not in Germany but Hamburg in the Eastern Cape. What a nice suprise this is an amazing little rural village between East London and Port Alfred, rcoast. Super chilled its the ideal getaway especially while Cape Town is getting pounded by wintery weather !!

  1. OK for those of you who don’t know Cape Talk Radio, they are a  radio station broadcasting out of the Cape, and together with Sony Erickson they ran a photographic competition related to the 2010. The theme was to capture your city ‘ warming up’ for the world cup. The prize is access as an ‘official photographer’ to all the games being played in Cape Town. So in other words being on the pitch as players warm up and the shooting from the side lines during the game. And yes I WON !!! Sooo stoked, this a once in a lifetime opportunity, maybe a touch intimidating when i think of 60 000 fans screaming all around but i say bring it on ! Here’s the winning pics , enjoy. I stumbled upon these guys playing football on the way home from the beach the other day. What stood out for me was not only the the beautiful backlight but mostly the harsh conditions these guys where playing on. This is real hardcore stuff, a few blades of grass here and there otherwise just sand and dust. I just loved the goalpost, no net and barely staying up but the best thing was these guys didn’t look bothered in the least !

Just to let you know i will be exhibiting at the FAB Bridal fair this weekend at the CTICC,

if you are still looking for a wedding photographer its a great opportunity for us to meet face to face.

Hope to see you there.
